Dwight Williams is the National Account Director within the Management Liability Practice Group (MLPG) at Risk Strategies.
As a seasoned expert with more than 23 years of experience, he provides risk advisory, strategy, and placement services to a diverse client base, from emerging private companies to complex publicly traded financial institutions. He is also responsible for expanding intellectual capital and providing strategic direction for the financial institution specialty within the practice.

Previously, Williams served as Client Service Executive within Gallagher’s Financial Institutions niche,
managing the overall client experience across all product lines, while assuming the role of primary
advisor for the executive lines of coverage for banks, insurance companies, asset managers, and
fintech companies. Prior to that, Williams served as the U.S. Head of Middle Market within Willis Towers Watson’s FINEX Financial Institutions Practice where he was responsible for creating and executing strategy for the segment nationally. Williams began his career with Marsh’s FINPRO team in New York.

Williams is a catalyst for Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, & Belonging, holding a leadership position on the
Risk Strategies DE&I Council. He is also a proud member of the National African American Insurance
Association (NAAIA), former NAAIA NY Chapter Board member, served on insurance company advisory boards, and is a member of the Professional Liability Underwriting Society (PLUS). He has been a featured speaker at Risk & Insurance Management Society (RIMS) panels and has contributed to many periodicals related to DE&I and professional risks. He was a recipient of Insurance Business America 2022 “5-Star Professional Liability Broker” Award and was named one of the 2023 “Hot 100 Top Professionals” by Insurance Business America.

Williams holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance and minor in Economics from Syracuse
University.
