Jorge Carstensen is co-founder of Sophos Advisors, a risk consultancy based in Miami
and Zurich, focused on advisory services for captives and private reinsurers across
Latin America.
Jorge advises multiple LATAM-based Single Family Offices and captive structures, with
a deep understanding of cross-border regulation and strategic deployment of alternative
risk vehicles.
He holds a B.Sc. from Texas A&M University–Kingsville and completed executive
programs at McGill and Wharton. He also chairs the Advisory Board of the US-Mexico
Chamber’s Interamerican Chapter and serves on the board of the Miami Chamber of Commerce Dubai.
