Jerry Faiella completed a 32 year career in New York State local government administration with 27 of those years serving in the capacity of CEO/CAO. He managed several lower Hudson Valley communities ranging in size, complexity, and economic makeup overseeing all facets of finance, personnel and benefit administration, and service delivery.
In 2010 he retired from public service and started his own consulting business, focusing on local government risk management and benefit administration. He was appointed as MEBCO’s Executive Director in 2011, administering this municipal health benefit consortium and in 2016 appointed as the Interim Executive Director of the Public Employers Risk Management Association, providing workers compensation coverage to public sector entities in New York.
He also served for five years as Executive Director for the New York State City/County Management Association, an affiliate of the International City Management Association.
He holds a BS degree from SUNY Brockport and his master’s in public administration from Penn State University.
