As General Counsel to Alliance Captive Management, Amanda guides the company on various aspects of operations, including, but not limited to, regulatory compliance, new product and client development, contracts, domicile expansion, corporate structuring, claims and risk management, tax, intellectual property preservation, licensing, labor & employment matters, and marketing. Amanda routinely writes articles and speaks at legal functions about captive insurance matters, believing that captive insurance provides a critical risk management tool in which businesses should invest. Amanda is active with the American Bar Association's Tort Trial and Insurance Practice Group, including being the Chair-Elect for the Self-Insurers and Risk Managers Subcommittee. Prior to her involvement with captive insurance, Amanda was a partner and practice group chairwoman at one of Florida's largest and oldest firms, Shutts & Bowen, LLP.
