Dave Arick, ARM, is Managing Director, Global Risk Management, at Sedgwick, the world’s leading risk and claims administration partner. Dave and his team are responsible for leading risk management, health & safety, physical security, and business continuity for Sedgwick, all with the goal of effectively managing and improving Sedgwick’s risk profile.

With more than 35 years of experience in insurance, risk management, and treasury, Dave is recognized as a dynamic executive and thought leader in the industry. Prior to joining Sedgwick in 2024, Dave’s career progressed through roles at a number of major organizations including Nationwide Insurance, Banc One Corporation, Abbott Laboratories, Emerson Electric, General Electric, and International Paper.

Since 2019, Dave has been a member of the board of directors of RIMS, the Risk & Insurance Management Society, serving as the Society’s Secretary, Treasurer, and Vice President, prior to being elected as the RIMS 2024 President. He has previously served as an ex-officio board member of the Spencer Educational Foundation.

Dave is also a long-standing member of the M200 Association, and is a former chairman and board member of that group. He has previously served on the board of the Fire Museum of Memphis, including a year as the board chairman, and has also served on various customer advisory boards throughout
his career.
