Tim Svoboda is Vice President of Alternative Risk Consulting at Conner Strong and Buckelew based in New York. In this role, he guides clients through evaluating alternatives to traditional insurance, exploring captives, risk retention groups, and many other unique alternative risk solutions. Tim leads Conner Strong’s Alternative Risk Practice Group, and is a staunch advocate of education, mentorship, and developing internal expertise.

Prior to joining Conner Strong, Tim began his career in alternative risk at Lockton in Kansas City, MO. Four years later, he jumped at the chance to transfer to Lockton’s NYC office, fulfilling a long-time goal of living in the big city.
