Carolina Zalamea Lechtman has over 20 years of experience in the insurance and reinsurance market.
She currently serves as CEO of Gallagher Consulting, where she leads the areas of Alternative Risk Transfer (directly related with captives in Latam), Risk Management, and Consultancy in Occupational Risks, Legal Risks, and Claims Management.
During these 20 years, she has worked at major brokers and reinsurers such as Hannover Re, Delima Marsh, and AON Re, holding executive positions for Latam, Private Equity, Mergers and Acquisitions, Casualty, Financial Lines, and Research and Development.
She has a solid academic background, holding a law degree with Master's degrees in Colombia and Spain in Insurance and Civil Liability, Business Law, as well as a specialization in Insurance Law. She is the author of the book "Civil Liability Derived from Defective Products.
