Edward J. Tyburski is Senior Vice President, Head of Specialty Health for Zurich North America. He is responsible for managing the Specialty Health market basket which includes employer medical stop loss and managed care excess of loss products. Mr. Tyburski joined Zurich in August 2003 and has more than 38 years related experience in the healthcare and insurance industries. His career has focused primarily on the employee benefit and healthcare space with his most recent emphasis on the development of Zurich's Specialty Health program administrator , medical group captive and GAP medical strategies. Mr. Tyburski has also been instrumental in the design and implementation of Zurich's distribution strategies for employer medical stop loss, group captive and GAP medical products. Mr. Tyburski has held positions in sales, sales management, risk and managing general underwriting management, consulting, brokerage, third party administration and reinsurance areas. Edward is a graduate of Saint Bonaventure University, St Bonaventure New York, class of 1984.
