Roberto Rivera-Rodriguez is First Vice President and Director of Alternative Risk Transfer (“ART”) at Alliant. Roberto is primarily responsible for the design, implementation, and administration of ART programs nationally. With daily service responsibilities for some of Alliant’s highest profile client relationships, Roberto advises his clients on all aspects of risk transfer and financing.
Prior to joining Alliant, Roberto held multiple roles within a global insurance brokerage firm and at Zurich North America. He has extensive expertise in underwriting and claims disciplines, including alternative risk transfer programs, marketing and administration, construction, and professional liability underwriting, as well as ocean marine, inland marine, and property subrogation. Roberto was also Zurich’s inland and ocean marine subrogation subject matter expert.
Roberto earned his Juris Doctor degree with an admiralty law certificate from Tulane University Law School in New Orleans, Louisiana and a is an active member of the New York State Bar. Roberto earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in History, summa cum laude, from the University of Massachusetts. Roberto also holds a Construction Risk Insurance Specialist (CRIS) designation.
