Felipe Chacón has over 20 years of experience in the insurance industry, working in various roles and countries on a global, regional as well as local level. He began his insurance career in 2002 in Private Pensions with Santander Bank Chile and later moved into the Property and Casualty sector when joining American Insurance Group as a Worksite Marketing Manager. At AIG Felipe held several positions in sales, marketing and management. Before moving to Zurich he was the Accident and Health Profit Manager reporting directly to the local CEO of AIG Chile.

Felipe joined Zurich in 2010 as the Regional Head of Customer and Distribution Management for Corporate Life and Pensions Latin America and was instrumental in building up Zurich’s local employee benefits capabilities in the region. In 2016 Felipe joined Zurich’s Global Employee Benefits Solutions team as Regional Distribution Manager and is now spearheading this business in the region facilitating businesses in more than 25 different countries and territories across the Americas. Felipe is the person to go to when multinational organizations in the region want to understand and coordinate their Employee Benefits on a global or regional level. In 2019, he has been relocated to Florida and expanded his sales responsibility to also serve US multinationals and is specialized on IEB Captives.

From 2005 until 2009, Felipe has also served as a board member in two companies for AIG Chile and one in Peru in a joint venture between PPS and AIG.

Mr. Chacón holds a B.Sc. in Government and Political Science and is a certified Public Administrator from Universidad Central de Chile. He also has an Advance Executive MBA from Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez. Felipe Speaks 3 languages and is the proud father of 2 daughters.
