Barry White brings over 20 years of experience to Artex, with proven success in the international insurance and reinsurance markets. He began his career with Aon in Ireland, where he was responsible for managing a portfolio of insurance captives along with developing new business opportunities in captive management.
Barry continued his career when joining international financial services firm Aegon in 2006 where he was instrumental in forming Blue Square Re, a Dutch based reinsurance company that provided capital and reinsurance structural efficiencies. Most recently, he led a global corporate insurance team at Aegon and Transamerica, placing large and complex programs including D&O, Cyber, EPL, Property, E&O, into insurance markets across the globe including onshore US, Bermuda and London. As part of the overall insurance risk management philosophy he was responsible for managing captive insurance companies in multiple jurisdictions. Barry is a graduate of The University of Limerick in Ireland, with a degree in Insurance and Risk Management.
