Jonathan Poling joined Sun Chemical in June of 2022 , as Director of Risk Management & Internal Audit and President of their two Captives.
Jon has responsibility for overall strategy, direction, and management of the Company’s global insurance programs and captive insurance companies. He collaborates with safety and operations teams on risk improvement initiatives and works with commercial teams as needed to address the companies risks globally.
In Jon’s Internal Audit role, he supervises and directs the activities of Sun Chemical’s internal audit team. These internal audit activities include testing for compliance with corporate and divisional policies and procedures, and the adequacy of internal controls over financial reporting. Additional he focuses on specific issues relating to risk assessments and enterprise risk management.
Jon comes to Sun Chemical after a 35-year career as Managing Director and Senior Client Executive at Marsh McLennan. At Marsh, Jon developed long-term client relationships and industry expertise in the chemical, real estate, and energy industries. He served as client executive to many large, global companies, including Sun Chemical.
