South Burlington, VT – After nearly 35 years in the captive insurance industry, Jeff has formed his own consulting company to assist entities in the formation and efficient utilization of their captive. Jeff is well versed in the formation and ongoing management of all types of captives domiciled throughout the US, Barbados, Bermuda, the British Virgin Islands and the Cayman Islands. He has worked for a large broker as well as a single parent captive insurance company. He has formed and managed over 100 captives, ranging from single parent captives to risk retention groups to association captives to sponsored captives and has experience in all domiciles.

Prior to forming Kenneson Consulting LLC, Jeff was President of Davies Captive Management (US) (“Davies”) and Senior Vice President of USA Risk Group and Strategic Risk Solutions (“SRS”), the three largest independent captive management firms in the world. During his 20 years at these three firms, he has serviced on 30 different boards of directors, is President of Davies Insurance Management, Davies’ sponsored captive operating out of Vermont, and he was President of Y-Bridge Insurance SPC, the SRS protected cell company operating out of the Cayman Islands. With these three firms, Jeff has formed many captives in the various US domiciles as well as in Barbados, Bermuda, the British Virgin Islands and the Cayman Islands.
