Artificial intelligence is reshaping insurance faster than most organizations can absorb. The tools are advancing. The technology investment is accelerating. What is not keeping pace, in most companies, is the human side of that transformation.
A 2025 International Labour Organization report found that if jobs most highly exposed to generative AI were to disappear, two women would be displaced for every man. Women in insurance are nearly twice as likely as men to hold roles at high risk of automation. And women are adopting AI tools at roughly 25 percent lower rates than men, a gap that compounds the risk over time.
How can you translate your existing expertise, including judgment, relationships, and institutional knowledge, into value that AI cannot replicate?
