Amy Cooper founded Rising Insurance Star Executives (RISE®) in 2017 as an initiative to help bridge the talent gap in the insurance industry.  RISE® is an insurance community dedicated to empowering early-career professionals, attracting new talent, offering networking opportunities, and connecting members with invaluable resources. RISE® has a mentorship program, awards, scholarships, innovation bootcamp, committees, online learning, and an annual in person leadership summit. RISE® was awarded Association of the Year in 2023 by Comp Laude.

In her daily professional life, Amy Cooper is Vice President of Carrier Practice for Gallagher Bassett, a leading global TPA which provides claims solutions while integrating state of the art technology to achieve superior outcomes.  Amy was recognized by the American Legal and Financial Network as one of the leading young professionals of the year in 2015, and the youngest to receive the award to date. In 2020, Amy was awarded the Insurance Business America Rising Stars designation. Amy is a regular speaker at conferences such as CLM, ACE, NAMIC, ITC, WCI, National WC, and others about attracting and retaining talent, generational differences, diversity & inclusion, career advancement, management, mentorship, and leadership.
