Gregory Smith graduated in May 2024 from of Georgia Gwinnett College (GGC) with a degree in Information Technology, specializing in Software Development. During his time at GGC, he demonstrated leadership and a commitment to community, serving as a Diversity and Inclusion Ambassador, Resident Assistant, and Technology Ambassador. He was also an active participant in the African American Male Initiative-Elite Scholars program, focused on enhancing retention rates for African American men.

Gregory gained valuable hands-on experience during his internship with the Project Management Office at Builders Insurance, where he collaborated across all departments to assist with preparation for a new enterprise wide platform. His strong performance earned him a full-time role this past August, officially launching his professional career as a Cloud Infrastructure Specialist.
