Aartie began her career as a corporate M&A attorney with Kelley Drye & Warren LLP before becoming a transactional risk underwriter in 2014. Aartie continued to underwrite across several carriers over nearly 5 years, including at Allied World and Ironshore and holding the position of the ‘Head of M&A – Americas’ with Hamilton Insurance Group. Aartie joined WTW in 2018 and in 2021 began leading the Transactional Insurance Solutions team at WTW where she oversaw the placement of representations and warranties, tax and contingent policies and managed a team of over 20 brokers. In 2024, Aartie was promoted to the Head of the Private Equity and Transaction Solutions Industry Group where she currently oversees the due diligence and placement of all lines of insurance related to mergers and acquisitions including P&C, executive risk and transactional.

Aartie graduated magna cum laude from Georgetown University where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Foreign Service concentrating in International Politics. She also holds a Juris Doctor from the Georgetown University Law Center.
