Charles Allen-Walter is a co-founder of Link USA, an LGBTQ+ Insurance Association. Link was started at Lloyds of London ten years ago and is in the process of expansion with recent chapter openings in the USA, Canada, and Bermuda. Charles has worked within the insurance industry for 22 years in various commercial property underwriting, business development, and broking roles.

“I like to think of DE&I as a marathon and we are not even at the halfway point yet. We cannot give into DE&I fatigue. This work matters. Take a break if you need to but don’t give up on the marathon. We have so much more to do toward making our industry widely inclusive, safe, and equitable for current and future underrepresented groups.”

Charles, his husband Travis, and their dog Bear live in Southern California.
