Mary is a member of Spencer Stuart’s Insurance, Financial Services, Board and CEO, and Human Resources practices — with a portfolio of clients that includes public and mutual Fortune 500 companies, as well as private equity and venture-backed companies. She works closely with clients across all segments of the insurance industry, including property and casualty, specialty insurance, life and annuities, employee benefits, health and reinsurance across all functions. Throughout her 20 years in executive search and consulting, Mary has led board of directors, C-suite and senior-level assignments across all functions, including general management, finance, operations, insurtech, risk management, actuarial, underwriting, marketing, distribution and claims positions.

Prior to joining Spencer Stuart, Mary spent 15 years in a global executive search firm’s insurance, Board & CEO and HR officer practices.

Earlier in her career, Mary led the actuarial recruiting division of a boutique insurance-specific recruiting firm based in Chicago.

Mary earned a B.A. in English and pre-professional studies from the University of Notre Dame.
