Speaker Bio
Ciara Smith joined Gallagher Bassett in 2025 as an Associate Client Services Manager. She is responsible for ensuring client needs are met by regularly communicating with clients, collaborating with internal teams and carriers to resolve issues, and supporting the claims processes.
Ciara graduated from North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University in 2025 with a degree in Criminal Justice and Corrections. She served as a school ambassador to introduce potential future students and their families to the university, and this experience honed her communication and relationship-building skills.
She previously interned at GB through the IN2GB internship program and gained experience working with the Marketing department and the Claims Operation. Through various projects, meetings, and networking opportunities, she developed time management skills and how to be adaptable in corporate settings.
Ciara intentionally sought opportunities outside of criminal justice to explore different industries. As part of IN2GB's inaugural cohort, she learned firsthand from GB's leaders about their career experiences and has since gained a warm welcome back in her first full-time role.
